Hi there. My name is Liz, and this is where I’ve got my tarot parody illustrations.  

Like many people, I have dabbled here and there over the years with tarot. I began with, again like many folks, a Rider Waite Smith deck, the one in the bright yellow box. Looking back, I wasn’t ready for it and have lost track of that deck through many moves. A couple of years back I got myself a new Waite Smith deck called the Universal Wait Tarot which uses Smith's drawings but is colored by Mary Hanson-Roberts. I had a much better connection with that beautiful deck. I did some self-reflective three card pulls with the UWT deck for a while but never bothered to truly study tarot in terms of knowing the cards and their symbols/intentions without googling them. 

I am now on the path of Thoth and will be attempting to dig deeper into how the system works and all the symbolic layers in each card. I will share these posts here on the site. I hope you’ll follow along and maybe even get yourself a little something from the shop.
